The agricultural property Hörrs Nygård was bought in June 16th 1964, to provide a suitable piece of land for the scouts in Malmö to run scout activities on. The property is owned by 8 scout troops in Malmö and is maintained and administrated by a board appointed by the owners. Everyone working on Hörrs Nygård is volunteering.
Great work throughout the years has made the property better suited for camps and other outdoor activities.
The owners of Hörrs Nygård are following scout troops: Augustenborg, Djupadal, Gripen, Hohög, Kirseberg, Oxie, Slottsstaden och Tornfalken. All are members of the Swedish scout and guide association.
